Hostel Rules & Guest Code of Conduct – Verve Nepal
Welcome to your home in Thamel! To ensure everyone has a safe and “Verve-filled” experience, we ask all guests to follow these house rules:
- Check-In: From 2:00 PM. Please present your original passport and a valid visa upon arrival.
- Check-Out: By 11:00 AM.
- Early Departure: If you are leaving early in the morning (for a trek or flight), please inform the reception the night before so we can settle your bill and assist with logistics.
Electricity & Water Conservation
- Resource Management: Please use electricity and hot water wisely. Nepal’s resources are precious; help us minimize our environmental impact.
- Heavy Equipment: Do not use heavy electric equipment (such as portable heaters, electric kettles, or hair dryers) in the dorms or rooms without prior permission from management. This is to prevent circuit overloads and fire hazards.
- Quiet Hours: From 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Property Care: Please be mindful of other guests—do not slam doors or windows.
- Respect: Any form of harassment or aggressive behavior will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
- Designated Cooking: For safety and hygiene, do not cook anywhere other than the designated kitchen area. Cooking or using heating elements inside dorms or private rooms is strictly prohibited.
- Cleanliness: Please wash your dishes and clean the surface immediately after use.
- Alcohol: Responsible consumption only.
- Smoking: Permitted only in designated outdoor areas or the rooftop.
- Drugs: Zero tolerance for illegal substances.
- Use the lockers provided for your valuables. Verve Nepal is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Outside visitors are not allowed in the sleeping quarters.
- Do not share door passcode that is given to you.
